Steve Kilbey was born in England in 1954 and migrated aged 3 to Australia as a 10 pound Pom . In 1980 he formed the Church in Sydney who have since gone on to release over 30 albums and millions of sales world wide. He has also done a load of collaborations and solo albums as well as being a published writer poet blogger and a painter. Phew!He lives in Coogee but alas owns neither a dachshund or a labradoodle!
Collectively, his songs ‘Under the Milky Way,’ ‘Unguarded Moment’ and ‘Reptile’ have received 50 million streams on Spotify.
